Parents, you have a responsibility.
You are responsible for the care of your children and supervising their medical care. At least that was your responsibility. Some of your children are getting to the point where they need care from an adult physician in your practice, or your practitioner may not be able to take care of them.
This is an important time, and it’s called healthcare transition, and your job over the next couple months is to work through this kit, this course, these thoughts on transferring the confidence and the knowledge, the techniques and the responsibility over to your child as they become an adult.
They need to be responsible for their healthcare.
