Hello everyone! My name is Akilah Gilbert. I am an adult living with Sickle Cell. I also work for the Sickle Cell Foundation of AZ as a Community Health Worker. My main goal with both of those titles is to serve the SCD community in Tucson & Phoenix. Helping them with advocacy, education and information that makes their journey just a little bit easier. 😀
