National Sickle Cell Awareness Month

Each September, the United States observes National Sickle Cell Awareness Month to focus attention on the need for research, treatment, and support for people living with sickle cell disease. Throughout the month, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Arizona hosts education, screening, and community activation events across our zones.
