INVITATION – Sickle Cell Advancing Together – Round Table for National Awareness Month

If you are Living with SCD, part of the Medical Community or simply part of the general community looking to learn more about Sickle Cell disease,  we invite to join us in person or virtually on September 26, 2024 at 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm for our quarterly Arizona Community Round Table Advancing Sickle Cell Disease Together and as we wrap up September as National Sickle Cell Awareness Month.

Our two in-person hosted events:

• Tucson – The Dunbar Pavillion – 325 West 2nd Street, Tucson, AZ 85705
• Phoenix – the Red Cross of Arizona Office – 4747 North 22nd Street, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ, 85016

• “What is Sickle Cell and Why Should you Care?” for the general public
• “Why Medical Home and Transition are So Important” for those living with SCD or know someone who is.
• “From the School Nurses to the Emergency Rooms…why the Front Line Matters” for those in our schools, hospitals and communities.
• And finally, we’re kicking off our Reality Health Games with a community wide challenge to KNOW Your Blood, MOVE your Blood and GIVE your Blood!
